Advertise on ServerDiff

Put your servers in front of people who are about to buy one. Sponsored boxes sit in a few marked places, apart from the rankings, which no one can buy.

Who you reach

ServerDiff compares 2,114 servers from 54 providers by what they really cost each month. The people reading it are choosing a VPS, a dedicated server or a GPU server right now: they filter by memory, cores, country and budget, open a server’s bill and follow a link to the provider. They are developers, small companies and self-hosters, mostly in Europe and North America, reading in English, German, French, Spanish or Russian.

Where a sponsored box appears

  • Under the server lists: the finder and every curated list (cheapest VPS, VPS in a country, workloads such as n8n or game servers).
  • Best VPS: under the best picks for each size.
  • A server’s page: in the side column, beside the bill.
  • Compare: under a side-by-side comparison.
  • Provider ratings and tools: under the ratings table and on the calculators.

One advertiser per place at a time, or two sharing it by day. You can pick the places, the languages and the dates.

The rules

  • A sponsored box always says “Sponsored” and links to how sponsored placements work. It is drawn apart from the lists, never as a row inside one.
  • Money never changes an order, a score, a bill, a badge or a review. The ranking code does not read who pays, and a test checks it (see the methodology).
  • Your prices on ServerDiff are your public prices, checked like everyone else’s. A wrong price is corrected for free, whether or not you advertise.
  • Links in a sponsored box carry rel="sponsored", and the disclosure lists who is advertising.
  • We decline ads for services we would not list, and claims we cannot check.

What a box contains

Your logo and name (from your listing), a headline of up to 60 characters, one sentence of up to 140 characters, and a button to a server’s page on your site or to your website. Text can differ per language. No images, animation or tracking scripts: the box is plain HTML, like the rest of the site. Clicks are counted the same way as every other link to a provider, as a daily total without personal data, and we send you the numbers.

Prices and booking

Places are sold by the month, at a flat price per place that depends on its traffic; we send the current numbers and prices on request. Write to [email protected] with the places, languages and months you have in mind. Being listed, and corrections, stay free whether or not you advertise.
