Storage VPS

287 servers from 14 providers, from €14.00 a month. Prices checked 10 hours ago

A storage VPS trades processor for disk: a terabyte or more of space on a plan with modest cores and memory, for backups, file sync, a media library or an archive that has to stay online. This list starts at 1 TB and ranks every plan by the monthly bill over the period you choose, with the IPv4 address, setup fees and the renewal price included. Raise the disk filter for more room, or pick a disk type if speed matters.

Lowest bill
€14.00(The lowest bill with every charge known. Rows priced lower leave out a charge their provider doesn’t publish.)

Typical hidden fees
+€4.46/mo(6% of these servers cost more than their price tag once the required fees are added (IPv4, setup, traffic, minimum term). On those, the extra is typically €4.46 a month. The list is always sorted by the full bill.)

Some links may earn ServerDiff a commission. It never changes the order, which is the bill under the assumptions shown. How we rank

HDD, SSD or NVMe: the cheapest terabytes are usually on hard disks, which are fine for backups and media streaming and slow for databases or many small files. SSD and NVMe plans with the same space cost more and suit apps that read and write all day. The Disk type filter separates them.

Traffic decides the bill as often as the disk does: a backup target mostly receives data, but a media server or a download mirror sends it out, and every terabyte over the allowance is charged. Each row shows the traffic included and the price of an extra terabyte; set the traffic you expect in the settings above and the bills follow.

Before you put your only copy there: one virtual disk is not a backup. Providers protect their storage against a failed drive, not against deletion, ransomware or the provider closing your account. Keep a second copy somewhere else, and encrypt what you upload if it is private. If you need tens of terabytes, compare with a dedicated server with several disks: past a few terabytes it is often cheaper per terabyte.
